| Transforming Apartment by Christian Schallert Posted: 12 May 2011 07:14 PM PDT  Christian Schallert remodeled a 24 square meter apartment (258 square feet) into a transformable lving space. Everything is neatly stored away. At first glance, his apartment looks like an empty cube. To use a piece of furniture, he has to open a specific panel. Christian says its design was inspired by the space-saving furniture aboard boats, as well as the clean lines of a small Japanese home.
