Foxy

I had a very eventful weekend! We got a new touch screen computer and got hubby a playstation for his Xmas gift! So we've both been like droids, drooling, and loosing sleep over our new toys!

I did manage to get dressed and go to work though. I also managed to try and pick out my fro into this big mass of kinky hair and I'm in love with my hair all over again!

Sometimes when I wear weave for an extended period of time, I get nervous about returning to my natural haired state. I guess it's because the weave/braids are low maintenance and such a different look. But then you have to go back to deep conditioning and detangling. You go back to styling and lawd knows natural hair takes time!!!

But when it's all said and done and I'm back to me, it's always a win win situation!

You have definitely got to have patience and love your hair because if you don't it won't flourish. Just like with anything, it takes work!

I love my new froggy ring from Payless for $6.00! She makes my hands look so decorative.

Did you guys do anything exciting this weekend?

Can't change the spots

This dress was thrifted from B&R thrift store. The same theme I've been obsessed with long open dusters. I turn dresses into dusters by leaving them unbuttoned. I try to have a wardrobe full of multi functional things. Of course I'll turn around and wear it as a dress (like it's intended) or maybe even a top one day.

After the photos I realized that a hole snuck its way into my dress. Welp, guess I'll have to fix that with my handy new Sewing Machine. Haaa...I just reminded myself of the price is right. Jazzzzminnneeee come on down, the prize today is a handy new sewing machine. (Although I'd rather have the new car they always showcase). Am I a dork, yeah sometimes...so, :) Am I off on a tangent, yup.

Back to the look....

I'll showcase this makeup look later!

New video posts coming soon....

Kris Kross

What Jade Wore:

Dress (worn open as cardi), Thrifted

Ruffle Tank: Charlotte Russe

Sweater Leggings: Target

Boots: Cherry Bomb Boutique

The buttons on this dress actually go down the back. But I decided to wear this dress backwards and open because I love, love, love the maxi cardi look. I'm talking to the floor! If I could find a grey, tan, or cream knit floor length cardigan I'd be a happy lady!

This dress is Liz Claiborne. I've been finding a lot of her vintage styles lately!

I loved this interesting mural. I interpret it as a person breaking away from themselves.

But it could be a joining of heads...hmmm I don't know. But it's very creative, either way.

Comfy, comfy boots! Omg, have yall seen the shoe sales for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I'm so not going to overdo it....chant....

As always Love...

Spread like Mustard

What Jade Wore:

Sweater; Thrifted, $2.00!!!

Pants: Asos

Shoes: Charlotte Russe, very old

Clutch: VJ Style

Necklace and Earrings: H&M

Okay so my photographer husband could have told me that I had hair sticking up in every photo. I guess he was just not really concerned that I had a cowlick.

I cut the hell outta this sweater. I was attempting to do a DIY of a sweater that I saw here. I love the look. The thrift store is full of them of course. I have a great idea for how to correct my hacking. But I need to learn to sew (which I plan on teaching myself).

This is my first time in years wearing these red shoes, but they peeked out of my shoe pile wall and I said why not. It wasn't long before I remembered why...these things are not comfortable! I paid less than $10.00 for them a while back (2 yrs maybe) during a holiday sale at Charlotte Russe, so no biggie. These may go to someone's elses home.

I cannot ever complain about the fit of Asos pants. I've got a perfect fit every single time I order.

I wanna carry this clutch everyday and I could, but I try to switch it up every once in a while so I don't look too obsessive.

Leopard, Red, and Mustard. Hmmm, cute color combo, ya think?

Have any of you taught yourselves to sew? I really need an inexpensive sewing machine, so I can do DIYs and altering to my thrifted clothing....

Sweater Dress

I started hunting for the perfect slouchy knit sweater dress back in August. I knew that come Fall/Winter I would want a couple because they are so easy to wear and make chic, cute, comfortable whatever you want it to be. Of course I found the perfect one at H&M. The elbow patches gave it an extra umph.

I originally bought this sweater in Cream with brown elbow patches. If you stalk H&M like me then you know that they had a lot of their knits for buy one get one free a couple weeks ago. Being that I had just bought the cream sweater not even 14 days before the sale, I took my cream sweater back to exchange it and came home with my cream one and a grey one! Free sweater, yes please!

My spiked earrings are from Asos. They give the illusion of having large earholes, you know the stretched ear look, without having to stretch your holes.

I love, love, love this bracelet I got from Jamaica! It's very heavy and will go with pretty much anything I want it to, all seasons.

Whoa Mama! A little leg action.

The love of Autumn

What Jade Wore:

Blazer: Thrifted, $1.00

Button Up: H&M

Jeans: Target

Necklace: H&M

Shoes: Go Jane, last year

Can you believe I almost left this blazer at the store. I tried to justify not spending an extra dollar because I had already had to choose what I was getting. I would have been so mad at myself if I left this blazer there. After I got home, in typical Jazmine fashion, I tried on some new purchases and did a little outfit making. This blazer is a perfect buy to add a little color punch to several outfits. Today I just wanted to add some color to my basic black. And I couldn't leave out the leopard now could I?

I love Spring and Fall. The colors everywhere are so beautiful!

Have you ever kicked yourself for leaving the most perfect item at the store? What's your favorite under $5.00 buy?
