Park Ji-young, also known as "Kahi" or Gahee, is the leader of the South Korean girl group "After School".
It appears that Gahee possesses a diamond shaped face, which means that her ideal hairstyles would have to soften up her cheekbones by making her forehead balance accordingly. That is why her usual hairstyle is the long hairstyle
I love how Gahee's hairstyle is always so silky and smooth. This means that her hair thickness is pretty strong. Her long hair length gives her the "rich" feeling.

Stephanie Hwang (Hwang Mi-young), also known as "Tiffany", is a member of the South Korean girl group "Girl's Generation".

With an oval shaped face, Yuri is known for her usual long hair. But Yuri's version of "long hairstyle" is pretty similar to Yoona's, where the style is not too heavy or crazy. Instead, Yuri's hair style is very natural to the extent that it brings out her true beautiful face.
I love how Yuri does not have heavy bangs that cover her whole forehead. It's usually left in a 3/4 frame. That way one can notice her full features of her face. If the bangs covered so much portion of your forehead, then there is only so much facial impression you can show.
Yuri's hairstyle is pretty much long, medium thick, but curly at the ends. With this kind of hairstyle you can portray a "sexy" or "cute" look.

SNSD Member Yoona

Im Yoon-Ah, most commonly known as "Yoona", is one of the gorgeous members of the Korean girl group, "Girl's Generation" (SNSD).
Although she has somewhat a rectangular shaped face, she is most notably known for her long straight hair. Just like the other SNSD member Sunny.Well, well. Here, we have Yoona in shorter hair. But still maintains that 3/4 split for her fringes. She quite loves putting off her bangs, because that way her adorable eyes can be seen much more clearly. Otherwise, with full bangs, one's eyes would seem much smaller than they are.Now we have Yoona back in her longer, straight hairstyle, but this time dyed in a lighter brown colour. Because of her lovely facial features, she is able to pull off a "less crazy" hairstyle and still maintain that unique Korean idol charisma. Crazier hairstyles can be a bad thing because they can take away one's original facial features and emphasize on the hair ONLY!! Examples like Nam Ji Hyun and Park Bom both portray an intense hairstyle with extremely thick bangs that can cover your whole original facial features.Here is an example of Yoona wearing a "heavier/crazier" hairstyle. With thick bangs that cover most of your face, it doesn't do such a good job at showing your original elegant face. Even with a plainer, normal haircut, it does a great job at showing your gorgeous face.

Korean singer Jae Kyung Kim

Born on December 24, 1988, Jae Kyung Kim (Hangul: 김재경) is the leader of the recently debuted Korean girl group, "Rainbow".
Jae Kyung is one of the best examples of what an oval shaped face looks like. If you haven't noticed already, most Korean idols have the "oval shaped face, because it's the face shape that can work with almost any kind of hairstyle. Here, Jae Kyung is known for her long hairstyles ever since her debut.
The two photos just now demonstrate Jae Kyung's magical oval shaped face. That is, she can fully neglect bangs or have full fringes. Not only that, her fringes are so thick and short it's pretty hard for other face shapes to handle. But clearly, most fans would say Jae Kyung looks best with full bangs, because it creates an image of a "sharper" face, with a "cuter" look.

Korean rapper Yong Jun Hyung

Known as "Poppin Dragon" and "Joker", Yong Jun Hyung is a fresh Korean rapper that didn't debut so long ago through the Korean boy band, B2ST. Not only is he known for his high speed rapping, but also for his crazy hairstyles. See? :D
Yong Jun Hyung can pretty much pull off a short haircut, but with extremely thick and long bangs. Not only that, he usually has shaved sides, or even scratches! This is all because of his oval shaped face...Wait, this photo of his hairstyle is not so crazy yet....
After looking at two of Hyung's hairstyle photos, doesn't he remind you of another popular Korean rapper/idol? Could it be.. G-Dragon????!?
Hmm... It's a tough one, Both Yong Jun Hyung and G-Dragon have intense styles... Oh hey it's Hyung in a more "normal", thick, medium haircut. Although it's dyed light brown...

Also known as Kim Sang Beom, Kim Bum is a popular Korean actor known for his role as So Yi Jeong in the Korean drama, "Boys Over Flowers". As soon as you watch his amazing acting you will eventually be drawn into him. Especially in his newest Korean drama, "The Women who still wants to marry", Kim Bum's charisma attracts every single girl.
Evidently, Kim Bum is the definition of a pretty, Oval shaped face. He is one of the few that can pull off any type of hairstyles: from short haircuts to medium styles. Clearly, he looks awesome in a black trimmed hairstyle with full bangs!

Korean singer Jaejoong Kim

Born on January 26, 1986, Jaejoong Kim is a member of the famous Korean boyband, TVXQ (DBSK). Definitely a perfect example of an oval shaped face, Jaejoong is capable of having very short to medium hairstyles. He can easily pull off all sorts of hairstyles.
While blessed with such a delicate face, Jaejoong tends to have thick volumed hairstyles since it will not unbalance his facial expressions in any way. However, usually on other guys a thicker volumed hairstyle makes the face chubby. But it does not have that effect on Jaejoong. ;)
Clearly Jaejoong contains that adorable and cute look through his help of his medium long hairstyles.His fringes and sides are particuarly long for a guy's.

Korean singer Gyuri Park

Born on May 21, 1988, Gyuri Park is the leader of the popular Korean girl group, KARA. It seems as though Gyuri has the rectangular shaped face, or so it seems. In this photo she pretty much leaves out the fringes, to create a wavy long hairstyle.




Gyuri's hair is not too puffy, or not too light in volume. Her haircuts change from long to medium. She definitely had a perm for the ends of her hair to create that "wavy" look. She is obviously gorgeous! You do the evaluation :)

Born on July 24, 1988, Seungyeon is a member of the Korean girl group, "Kara". Clearly Seungyeon has the face shape of the popular Korean singer, Taeyeon,with a heart shaped face. No matter how you look at it, Seungyeon has variations with her long hairstyle.



Like most other Korean idols do, Seungyeon also frequently dyes her hair to keep up with the hairstyling trend.









Her recent hairstyle is very thick in volume, but still contains some fringes. Yet she still keeps her long hair. However, her bright brown colored hair looks great on her!

Korean Singer Sandara Park (Dara)

Born on November 12, 1984, Sandara Park, also commonly known as Dara, is a singer and a member of the popular South Korean girl group, 2NE1, with Park Bom. Dara has an oval shaped face, that means she can wear almost any kinds of hairstyles she wants. From short hairstyles to long hairstyles, she does not have to worry if her hairstyle will have to balance out her facial features. For instance, she often wears all the way tied hairstyles, without any signs of fringes or sides. It is because she does not have to soften up broad chins or narrow foreheads. Amazing nine member girl group with awesome hit songs!! As you can see, Jessica has quite a Diamond Shaped Face, meaning that she has a narrow chin with narrow forehead. In that case, she tends to wear medium length hairstyles to long hairstyles.


Notice that Jessica tends to wear pretty heavy volumed hairstyles, with long tight fringes, covering up her forehead. That technique softens up her narrow forehead. Hence, it makes it look like an oval shaped face.






Jessica loves to play around with different hair colours. Her dyed hairstyles in addition to her beautiful figure makes her extremely gorgeous. Her hairstyles that lack fringe gives her a wilder look. With fringes she looks even more cute than she is already.
