Well I have had my loafers for two months maybe but never quite got around to telling you about them! Of course I was eyeing the steve madden's retailing at over $100. Then I spotted them on GoJane and UrbanOg but not in my size, :(. Damn, that $22 price on GoJane was right up my alley. So, slowly I forget about owning my leopard print loafers when lo and behold I walk into Dots one day looking for something else and came across these. They are the same exact Bamboo brand sold on GoJane and I skipped walked outta there with these after paying $12.00!!!!! Ha!

Wore them to work (which is daring at my FT hell-hole job) and my boss says "They look like slippers, like house shoes." Well that kinda is the concept, but it's hard to explain fashion concepts to people who don't have fashion concepts dancing around in their brains. So yeah I kinda do have on slippers, and they are haute!

Have you ever gotten into a fight over a pair of shoes?! Well, yeah me neither until the other day. I spotted these shoes at Dots and didn't get them immediately because I wanted to wait until Payday. Although these shoes were only $17.00 a girl's got a budget to keep, ya know. So on the day I did go back to get them they werent there. Then I heard a voice and turned around....the girl asks

"What size did you need in them" (she had two pairs down by her feet)

"I need a 9 (I have my fingers crossed)

"Oh, well your outta gas, I'm getting these"

Blank Stare

I took a brief moment and I flung her around by her hair and snatched my shoes, that I arrived 10 minutes late to catch, and held them in the air victoriously while the Rocky Theme song played in my head.

Okay, so that didn't really happen, but I did end up getting my shoes because I went to another Dots.
